Quality and Safety

Quality and patient safety have always been a priority at Lakeview Hospital. We support and participate in many initiatives sponsored by both state and national organizations. JCAHO (Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), I.H.I. (Institute for Healthcare Improvement), M.H.A. (Minnesota Hospital Association), and Health Grades are just a few.

Patients play an important role in the process of patient safety. Through participation in the "Speak Up" campaign, patients are encouraged to ask questions, collect information and make informed decisions. At Lakeview Hospital we want our patients to have a voice in their healthcare.

Lakeview Hospital's patient safety committee continues to work hard developing and implementing proactive safety measures. At its core are the National Patient Safety Goals created by the Joint Commission to improve overall safety across the nation.

If you have any concerns about quality, patient care or safety that the hospital has not addressed, please contact Lakeview Hospital's management at (651) 430-4515. If the concerns cannot be resolved through the hospital, you may contact:
